Meet the Remote Animal Assistance Team

Remote Animal Assistance is powered by people. From our leadership team to our dedicated staff, foster carers, and volunteers, every person plays a vital role in turning compassion into lasting change. Together, we combine skills, lived experience, and shared determination to end the cycle of preventable suffering in remote communities.

Meet our team

Our team members bring diverse skills to the table, from on-the-ground logistics and animal care coordination to community engagement and administration. They are the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that support reaches where it is needed most. Their commitment behind the scenes keeps RAA strong, adaptable, and ready to respond.

Foster Carers

Foster carers are the heart of RAA’s rescue work. They open their homes to dogs in need, providing love, safety, and stability during some of the most vulnerable moments in an animal’s life. Every wagging tail, every recovery, and every successful adoption is only possible because foster carers step up, offering the care and compassion that makes transformation possible.

Volunteers

Our volunteers and fundraisers are the driving force behind much of what Remote Animal Assistance achieves. From helping with transport and events to running online campaigns and local initiatives, they bring energy, creativity, and generosity to our mission.

Fundraisers keep the lights on and the work moving forward, turning everyday ideas – from raffles and bake sales to social media drives and charity challenges – into real impact for animals and communities. Volunteers give their time and skills wherever they are most needed, proving that change is built by many hands working together.

Together, our volunteers and fundraisers are proof that no act of kindness is too small. Each contribution, whether hours of service or dollars raised, helps us move closer to ending the cycle of preventable suffering.

Together, we are more than a team, we are a community of people united by the belief that lasting change is possible. From leadership to carers, volunteers to fundraisers, every person who stands with Remote Animal Assistance helps build a future where dogs are healthy, communities are safer, and the cycle of suffering is finally broken.Â
